Ski area Monínec (Monínec Ski Resort)
The Monínec complex is a unique project, which was created in Central Bohemia in the area called Czech Siberia and is only 80 kilometres away from Prague. The resort offers its visitors a red and blue ski slope with a length of 1,200 metres, to the top of which a four-seater cable car will take you. The upper 600 metres (red) of this slope is equipped with an anchor lift. For smaller skiers, the blue slope is 160 metres long with a poma lift. The slopes are regularly covered with technical snow and groomed. Artificial lighting makes night skiing popular with skiers. There is a free parking lot for more than 600 cars in the Monínec ski resort. The resort also offers equipment rental, ski service and two ski schools.
