Turkish Airlines started with five aircraft in 1933 and has a total of 371 passenger and cargo planes, currently operating to 328 cities in 128 countries around the world.

Turkish Airlines moved its hub from the existing Ataturk International Airport to Istanbul Airport, the world's largest next-generation airport, in April 2019, continuing to challenge and leap forward as a global airline.

In particular, there are about 80 destinations that can travel within three hours, allowing you to travel to various countries along with Turkish Airlines. In addition to major European cities, it also serves various and unique European cities and 60 major African cities. Turkish Airlines is also the airline with the largest number of routes connecting to Africa.

Turkish Airlines, a member of Star Alliance, is providing passengers with high-quality services such as 5-level in-flight, lounge dining, and business class catering. Currently, flights between Incheon International Airport and Istanbul Airport are operated daily.

Turkish Airlines, selected as the highest grade of 'Diamond' in the APEX Health and Safety Evaluation

Turkish Airlines is one of the most operated airlines in the COVID-19 situation, implementing thorough quarantine procedures and safety guidelines, and doing its best to ensure the safety of passengers. For this effort, Turkish Airlines was recognized for its highest "diamond" rating in the health and safety assessment conducted by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) and aviation consulting firm (SimpliFlying).

The assessment, conducted for global airlines, was divided into three classes: 'Gold', 'Platinum', and 'Diamond', and the assessment criteria were verified as health and safety standards in a total of 10 items, including airline lounges, boarding gates, and in-flight hygiene measures.

"We continue to implement strict hygiene measures along with thorough management to ensure that all passengers can travel healthy and safe despite the COVID-19 situation. In particular, we will continue to make efforts to provide the best travel experience to all passengers through the quarantine hygiene kit provided and flight attendants in charge of quarantine on all flights.", Ilker Ayci, the chairman of Turkish Airlines said.

Strict hygiene measures are implemented along with thorough management such as fever tests for all passengers using Turkish Airlines, installation of transparent shields at check-in counters, provisioning of quarantine kits with masks, hand sanitizers, disinfectant wipes, installation of all aircraft HEPA filters, and boarding of flight attendants in charge of quarantine.
