Cathay Pacific Airways Limited (now known as Cathay Pacific) is the first airline in Hong Kong to provide civil aviation services. The main business of Cathay Pacific is to operate scheduled air business, air cargo, air catering and in-flight handling. Its subsidiaries include Hong Kong Express Airlines, Hong Kong Huamin Airlines and Hong Kong Airport Ground Services Co., Ltd.
Cathay Pacific has won the "Airline of the Year" award from Skytrax, an authority in the world aviation industry, four times in 2003, 2005, 2009 and 2014, and was also rated as one of the top "five-star airlines" by Skytrax.
