Museo de Arte Sacro - ANDORRA

The Museum of Sacred Art houses a valuable collection full of liturgical objects from the various churches of Andorra.

The museum is divided into three rooms dedicated to different categories. The first houses goldsmith works, the second shows textile pieces, and the third exhibits interesting information and works on parchment and paper. Its most outstanding objects include a wrought iron Romanesque candelabrum from Sant Romà de Vila, a bronze censer dating from the 14th century, a true cross from 1571, a reproduction of the medieval Beatus of Liébana codex, and several parchments from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
